Check-ups and hygiene
Around 30 minutes with a scale and polish. We chart your gums, look at existing fillings and take X-rays if you have not had them recently. Children's check-ups use the same slot.

For a tooth that is missing or cannot be saved. First appointment is a scan and a bone assessment; the stages and visits are set out before you decide.
Fixed braces or clear aligners for crowded, spaced or tipped teeth. We scan first, then say how long each option is likely to take.
For cracked, worn or heavily filled teeth. Two visits: preparation with a temporary crown, then fitting when the lab sends the crown back.
In surgery or with trays made for you to use at home. We check enamel and existing fillings first, because fillings and crowns do not change colour.
For a tooth that is infected or causing pain. Usually one longer appointment under local anaesthetic, with a crown afterwards if the tooth needs one.
We keep the list short so there is room to run on time. If the patient before you needs longer, we ring you rather than leave you sitting in the waiting room. Waits are usually under ten minutes.

Yes, adults and children. Send the form or ring and we will offer the next free examination slot.
We do not publish a price list, because the cost depends on which tooth, which material and how many visits it takes. You get a written plan with itemised costs after the examination and X-rays. Nothing is booked until you have read it.
Yes. For implants, orthodontics and larger restorative work we can spread the cost over an agreed number of months. We go through the figures at the consultation.
At your first visit, unless you have had recent ones we can use. They are part of the examination appointment and we go through what they show.
Appointments run to time and waits are usually under ten minutes. If we are running late we ring you first so you are not sitting in the waiting room.
The first appointment is an examination with X-rays, then a written plan with itemised costs. Send a day and time that suits you.
