Migration guide by platform

How domain, forms and SEO redirects are handled when moving from Wix, WordPress, Hostinger Website Builder or Squarespace.

WixDrag-and-drop pages and Wix forms move to Vebivo; the Wix domain connection is released.

Steps

  1. Export or copy the page list and texts from the Wix panel
  2. Download images at original size from the Wix media library
  3. Create the Vebivo brief and compare the preview with the current site
  4. Redefine form fields and the notification email
  5. Connect the domain to Vebivo and remove it from Wix
Domain
If the domain is registered with Wix, transfer it or point DNS; the Wix Premium plan is cancelled after cutover.
Forms and inquiries
Wix Forms submissions do not migrate; download them as CSV. New site forms land in the Vebivo inbox.
SEO and redirects
Keep Wix page paths (for example /services) or add redirects in Vebivo; resubmit the sitemap.
WordPressContent and media come from the WordPress export; plugin-based forms are rebuilt.

Steps

  1. Export pages and posts via Tools > Export
  2. Download images from wp-content/uploads
  3. Simplify the page structure in the Vebivo brief (write plugin sections by hand)
  4. Move Contact Form 7 / WPForms fields into the Vebivo form
  5. Preview the new site before shutting WordPress down, then change DNS
Domain
If the domain sits at a registrar only DNS records change; WordPress hosting is cancelled separately.
Forms and inquiries
Plugin form entries live in the database and do not migrate. New forms are defined in Vebivo with a notification email.
SEO and redirects
If the permalink structure differs, prepare a redirect list for old URLs; submit the new sitemap in Search Console.
Hostinger Website BuilderAI-generated pages and Hostinger forms are turned into a new brief.

Steps

  1. Copy page texts and sections (there is no export)
  2. Download images from the Hostinger media area
  3. Create the Vebivo brief and review the preview
  4. Rebuild forms and notifications
  5. Switch the DNS zone in hPanel to the Vebivo records
Domain
If the domain is at Hostinger, the DNS zone is managed in hPanel; the builder subscription is closed after publishing.
Forms and inquiries
Builder form submissions stay in the Hostinger panel; new ones are listed separately in the Vebivo inbox.
SEO and redirects
Builder addresses are usually /page; keep the same structure to avoid redirects, otherwise prepare a list.
SquarespaceSquarespace pages and form blocks move over; the Squarespace domain connection is released.

Steps

  1. Get the XML via Settings > Advanced > Import/Export
  2. Download images at full size
  3. Create the Vebivo brief and check the mobile preview
  4. Move form blocks into the Vebivo form
  5. Disconnect the domain from Squarespace and connect it to Vebivo
Domain
A domain bought from Squarespace is subject to the 60-day transfer rule; pointing DNS is faster.
Forms and inquiries
Squarespace form storage does not migrate; download a CSV. New forms are defined in Vebivo.
SEO and redirects
Squarespace URLs (/page) and blog addresses go into the redirect list; resubmit the sitemap.

The steps describe the general flow; each provider's panel and contract terms may differ. No zero-downtime guarantee is given; the DNS step is planned after the preview is approved.
